LNER asked us to help shape a strategic 10-year plan, setting out the vision for the future of rail travel and defining what the end-to-end digital experience would look like for their customers.

As the lead designer on the project, I guided the team with a series of ideation workshops. In just 8 weeks of remote design hacks, we generated hundreds of bold ideas — from futuristic stations to enhanced onboard experiences. We distilled these into 15 key concepts, each tested with real users.

Next, we crafted ‘2030 digital blueprint around major themes. The traditional blueprint didn’t cut it for a project of this scale, so we built a fresh framework tailored to LNER’s vision—something they could actively use to drive innovation.
